Profile Milling / Resurfacing
When necessary and under the correct circumstance, ACE Paving & Maintenance can perform profile milling and resurfacing of your asphalt pavement. Ace Paving in Alpharetta, GA, offers professional asphalt milling and resurfacing to restore parking lots, private roadways, and driveways. Our experienced team of paving professionals use the best equipment and advanced techniques to ensure old asphalt is removed and a new hot mix asphalt is replaced.
Asphalt profile milling is used to grind down the existing pavement when it is no longer viable or when the asphalt is too thick to completely remove. This is needed as preparation for installing new pavement or resurfacing paved surfaces. Depending on the depth of the asphalt and how much damage is sustained, asphalt milling may be used to grind and remove some or all of the existing asphalt. Once profile milling has been performed, new asphalt can be installed, or resurfacing can be performed to restore a smooth, durable long-lasting pavement surface.
Partial and Full-Depth Asphalt Milling
Commercial asphalt can range in thickness depending on the type of traffic area. With asphalt milling, partial or full-depth profile milling and removal may be needed. Partial-depth milling may only remove the top layer, allowing the area to be resurfaced. With full depth milling and resurfacing, the asphalt is removed to base rock. New asphalt is then installed back to its original surface minimizing existing base and surfaced drainage.
Asphalt profile milling and resurfacing can sometimes be the more efficient option for asphalt paving restoration and repair. Our team at Ace Paving can evaluate existing paved surfaces to determine the extent of milling needed to restore a viable surface. We offer quality installation of new asphalt or resurfacing using our advanced milling techniques and equipment.
